For this workshop, you’ll be glazing your pre-selected stoneware ceramic piece with a variety of stoneware glazes as well as the 100+ other glazes normally offered in the shop which will be fired in the kiln at cone 6. Stoneware is stronger, less porous, more durable, and chip-resistant than earthenware due to higher firing temperatures and vitrification, making it ideal for everyday, dishwasher-safe kitchenware. Due to time constraints of this event, there is a limit of one piece of pottery per person. All pottery must be completed in the two-hour window provided. ***YOU MUST SELECT YOUR POTTERY PIECE BEFOREHAND, ANYONE THAT REGISTERS WITHOUT SELECTING AND PAYING FOR THEIR PIECE BEFOREHAND CANNOT BE ACCOMODATED THE DAY OF THE EVENT. ***
